Software development
and distribution

We advise you on IT projects of all kinds from the development of the software to its distribution. Our support extends, for example, to the consultation, review, negotiation and drafting of IT or software contracts. We represent our clients both in and out of court.

Software for purchasers
We review, design, and negotiate individual software contracts as well as individually required adjustments and additional agreements for you. We also advise software developers and purchasers in particular with regard to the data protection principles privacy by design and privacy by default.

We also review and draw up general terms and conditions for the purchase and sale of software and hardware based on your specific needs and the actual circumstances.

We will be happy to support you in creating the appropriate legal structure for the specific situation; whether standard software is to be purchased or individually adapted, or whether individual software (whether waterfall or agile software) is to be created.

E-Commerce
If you also sell your goods or services online, your website should always comply with the current legal requirements. However, the compliance with the applicable legal requirements for e-commerce are becoming more and more opaque due to new laws, regulations, and European legal requirements.

Therefore, we keep the overview for you and support you in B2B (business to business) as well as in B2C (business to client) sales. We check your website and your web shop for legal conformity and compliance with the extensive disclosure requirements. If necessary, we will gladly adapt both to the applicable legal situation. We take a close look at your general terms and conditions or design them for you to suit your shop. We are also happy to take over your receivables management.

Domain law
As part of domain law, we mainly focus on consulting on the allocation and registration of domains. In addition, we support you in protecting your domain from misuse by third parties by asserting your claims under domain law, e.g. for damages, injunction, or deletion before the competent courts, but also within applicable dispute resolution procedures such as UDRP (Uniform Domain-Name Dispute Resolution Policy) and URS (Uniform Rapid Suspension System).

Our lawyers also draft and review all contracts related to domain law, e.g. registration conditions, acceptable use policies, reseller contracts etc.
